Why do some Muslims reject being called a Muhammadi?

Posted on Jun 7, 2010 10:13:06 AM

I receive emails and comments on my site here and even on youtube where some Muslims object to the use of the name “Muhammadi” for Muslims. I just thought this issue needs special discussion and hence I am dedicating this short but brand new post to this issue.

The most common objection is that Read the rest of this entry »

Tomorrow may be too late. This is what brother Zamir Afzal had in mind when he gave me the mandate to make a film for him on the topic “Namaz and Adhaab-e-Qabr” (Namaz and punishment of the grave). His idea Read the rest of this entry »

How to be a muslim without praising the Prophet?

Posted on Feb 21, 2010 07:38:34 PM

There are some brainwashed people in this world who think they can be Muslims without ever praising the Prophet. I just realized that this is an impossible mission. Let me narrate the story behind this realization:

Very recently I met a writer and a poet and asked him to write some verses of praise for Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho ALayhe Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam that can be used in my upcoming film for Rabbi ul Awwal. He shocked me. “I have nothing to offer” he said. “I cannot write such verses”

“Why?” I asked.

Just completed a new film on Karbala. Watch trailer and promotional video online.

Posted on Dec 11, 2009 09:18:18 PM

KautharTv.com assigned a project to me some time back which I happily accepted. The topic was a unique one for me – Karbala!!! An opportunity to present a story about Karbala. What more can a slave of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alayhe Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam ask for? I don’t know if I could do justice to the theme but I did try my best within the given budgets and time. Please let me know how i did…. Watch the trailer and video of a marsiya from the film below and leave a feedback.

New challenging film completed. Trailer goes online.

Posted on Dec 2, 2009 03:26:22 AM

It’s been quite a while that I have posted anything. I admit I have been very busy with some great projects. In fact I just completed a film that I made for dear brother Mukhtar-ul-Mustafa. The shoot was hectic and challenging because I was doing the photography and also directing the actors. But the end result was good. At least that’s what I think. Watch the promo of the film and let me know what you think. This is only the trailer/promo and the entire film will be released by Mr. Mukhtar-ul-Mustafa as and when he decides to do so.

Please pray for me as I am currently doing some more really challenging film projects. I hope I will be able to do justice to the grand themes.

Enjoy, share and give me your feedback…

Language of Lovers or Shirk/Idolatry?

Posted on Oct 8, 2009 07:34:09 AM

A brother was brainwashed by an ideology that considers praise to be shirk. He raised many ‘objections’ on this site as well as on my youtube uploads. Click here to read his ‘objections’ and my replies. You too can add more points to this debate. You can join the debate on youtube too.

It is our inner intention that makes the difference between praise and shirk. If I praise someone considering him to be independent of Allah then it will be shirk. Otherwise I can shower any amount of praise and still not be a mushrik.

His Nation will go to Eid, remembering his sacrifices and teachings.

Posted on Sep 20, 2009 10:03:08 AM

May the Nation (Ummah) of RasoolAllah Sallallaho Alayhe wa Alehi Wa Sallam have a joyous Eid.

Allah sends Durood on the Prophet in the Quran:
I do bless him and so do my Angels. O believers, you too ask me to bless him and you salute him with complete submission.

Allahumma Salle Ala Muhammad Wa Aale Muhammad.

Your Nation testifies on this day of Eid and every other day that you are alive.

O Ummah of the Prophet, cling to the teachings of the noblest one. Remember the poor, the sick, the old, the orphans and the unfortunate in our Eid. Never forget the sacrifices and pain that the Prophet Sallallaho Alayhe Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam endured so that we may be happy and free.

Allahumma Salle Ala Muhammad Wa Aale Muhammad.

Allah’s love for his beloved – Naat e Rasool Sallallaho Aleihe Wa Alehi Wa Sallam in the Quran.

The blessed one.
Allah says in the Quran (33:56) I do bless him, so do my angels and O believers you too ask me to bless him…

Islam comes from the word ‘Tasleem’ or Submission. Allah says Tasleem (Submission) is for the Prophet…

Never indeed, by your Lord; they are not believers until they come to you [O Muhammad] to judge in their disputes, then find no hesitation in their hearts whatsoever in accepting your judgment and submit a total submission (Tasleema) (Quran 4:65)

… (O believers) Send salutations on him (The Prophet) with complete submission (Tasleema) (Quran 33:56)

Now we know that Islam is submission to the Prophet of Allah (May Allah’s blessings be upon him and his household)
